long time no see...
As is plain to see to the few (or for that matter 0) people who follow/ read my blog, I have been a little patchy at maintaining it, especially during my time abroad, this was of course because I was "living in the moment" or whatever a less clichéd term would be. since being back home, I have had so much fun and have been so spun out by minute aspects of a British summer that I had never cared to notice before. I find myself smelling flowers & wanting to jump in rivers. although engaging myself in this reality again is very difficult, real people with real problems seems to be the issue at hand, I had forgotten how much drama my friendship group can create for themselves, but I am happy to bob along, follow the twists and turns and see where we all end up in September,
I'ts good to be home:

Asian delight
so, We've been in Asia for just under two weeks and the first point i'd like to make is about the heat, i'm currently on the island of Phuket where it is 32 degrees, but because of 70% humidity it feels much hotter... Asia so far has really felt like a sensory overload, whether it's the towering sky scrapers of Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, or the breath-taking scenery of islands such as Penang and Phuket, brightly colored fabrics assault the eyes and delicious & fragrant smells are a constant temptation, and don't get me started on the cheap alcohol and cigarettes, needless to say my health and state of mind isn't quite what it was when i was at home, but hey, if you can't beat it then you must simply jump in with both feet and get involved, although i can't give you a full picture of my experiences so far here is a little taster:

End of Aus
this post is a little late, and i do it with much sadness, leaving Australia, and the people who love there was one of the hardest things i have ever had to do, needless to say i will see them all again and they will always be on my mind, in so many ways Australia was an intoxicated, beautiful blur but the memory of the feelings i got and the way it felt like home is something i will take with me for the rest of my life, so this is a massive thanks to those who opened my eyes to the potential of the "promised land"
