hot mess

procrastinating to the extreme. bought this shiny cat transfer off Ebay, it cost what £1? just grabbed an old T-shirt, looks kind of cool, the picture above is a couple of my friends at a party, i think they both have really nice eyes.

Two good looks, a nice ornate jacket, and showing off being a well travelled person with Spanish jewelry (including fish scale head band.)

a beautiful friend with nice cardigan and me lurking in the background with tie dye

as much a it pains me to say, this is a really good look from alice

Genesis

This symbol (an ankh) is the symbol I chose to use for my first tattoo, as I'm sure many of you are aware it's meaning is of eternal life (the round of at the top is meant to be a womb, while the long bit  at the end is meant to be a dick, pretty ironic for a gay guy hey.) I'm aware that it's a pretty common tattoo to get, but I like the meaning of eternity it derives. I like how this theme has transferred (apologies for my tenuous link here) to fashion with the new galaxy print trend, as seen in works like Christopher Kane, who I think has now just released his men's line and holy shit, check out these bad boys:

NYE

as typical and narcissistic as it sounds, New Years eve does have a sense of excitement and anticipation about it, a death and a rebirth, anyway i celebrated it in a spectacularly intoxicated style, so i'll give a picture recall of my last day of 2010:

So, first thing of the day was to tide dye some t-shirts....

vague attempts at  a dip dye tie dye combi led to pretty cool results:
nothing better than some home done tie dye, anyway so onto to the night which began with an exciting drink of vodka skittles, and horrible yougarty/coconut/rum/baileys/milk/ice concoction

then partying out, in home made dip dye shirt and bolo tie (vague attempts at being a native American....)

However on the insistence of the host the song sung at the strike of twelve was not auld lang syne but Rhianna's rude boy, classy non?

anyway it was a good night and has put me in mind of all that i (as well as my friends, and i'm sure many of you out there) have acheived in the past year, and all the things i look forward to achieving in the new.
Happy new year
